We only recommend replacement when repairing a system would not be cost-effective or safe. Once a rooftop tank begins to corrode from the inside, it cannot be restored. The metal weakens, leaks become frequent, insulation effectiveness declines, and the risk of a sudden tank failure increases. Systems fitted with NPT200 collectors include a 7-year warranty on cylinder and collector supply, 3 years on cylinder and collector labour, and 1 year on parts and labour. Systems that use L or CSA2007 collectors come with a 10-year cylinder and collector supply warranty, 5 years of cylinder and collector labour, and 5 years of parts and labour.
